Overview

The 2017 study explored bicycle and pedestrian connections between Uptown and surrounding neighborhoods, including a Memorial Park Connector linking Memorial Drive and Uptown Park Boulevard across Buffalo Bayou. The proposed network connected toward the Northwest Transit Center and White Oak Bayou Trail, with a potential future connection south to the proposed Southwest Transit Center. The approach sought to reuse existing roads, sidewalks, structures, and signaling where feasible, proposing new paths where existing conditions could not meet the study’s bicycle-path requirements.

My contribution

—Co-designed with the principal and served as Project Manager, contributing to conceptual master planning, presentation coordination, cost estimation, and internal and external team management.
