Overview

A classic three-story beach house unfolds across three lots in Manhattan Beach, composed as a passage toward the sea. Stone paths drift through flowering grasses, palms rise into the salt air, and bamboo encloses quiet courtyards in cool shadow. A sculptural timber fence gives the landscape rhythm and intimacy as the planting loosens toward the dunes.

My contribution

—Collaborated on planting design and layout for the beach-house garden.
—Sourced plant materials suited to the coastal site.
—Managed the project internally, coordinating design and production.
